Welcome to Re-Solv Northamptonshire

Re-Solv has received funding to deliver prevention education in schools and across the County. The National Lottery Community Fund, West Northamptonshire Council, and North Northamptonshire Council provide this funding. Joy Miller delivers this work. She has been providing prevention education in Northamptonshire for many years and is highly respected for her ability to engage with various age groups and communities.

Joy leads interactive and engaging sessions on solvent misuse, covering the misuse of aerosols, gases, glues, and nitrous oxide, commonly known as ‘laughing gas.’ These sessions support PSHE and help Year 6 students transition to secondary school.

Joy also delivers preventative education on vaping, focusing on its risks and effects, particularly for under-18s.

All sessions include activities to reinforce learning and time for discussion.

In addition, Joy conducts prevention work across the broader Northamptonshire community in various settings.

In 2024, Joy reached over 4,000 young people through school and community sessions across the county. She also shared prevention messages with many adults at community events, open days, and through her school sessions.
