Silent Killer
“The Silent Killer” DVD with Resources’s Booklet
The Silent Killer is a short documentary detailing a community memorial walk held on the first anniversary of the death of Steven Blacker, a 14-year-old boy from Derbyshire who died in 2006, sniffing petrol. The 8-minute DVD also contains interviews with Steven's mother and younger brother, and is accompanied by a teacher’s booklet, containing factual information and activities. This is an ideal resource, not only for VSA but for broader PSHE discussions on issues of personal choice, responsibility and the consequences of one's actions.
